While working as a dental assistant and finishing undergrad, JoAnn applied to the University of Iowa College of Dentistryand was accepted. After graduating in 2003 and marrying in 2007 newlyweds JoAnn and husband Sam moved to Madison, Wisconsin. When away from work, JoAnn and her husband Sam enjoy living in Madison with their 2 pointer dogs, Amber Ale and Magnum. They love watching Badger football, especially when the Hawkeyes come to town. Outside of football season they all love heading back to Iowa to go 4-wheeling on the dirt roads and boating on the Mississippi River.
