Maggie Budde DDS (formerly Smith) earned her B.A. in Exercise Science at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She continued her education at Creighton and received her M.S. in Clinical Anatomy. Through that program, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry.
Ultimately, she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry and was the recipient of the Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Student Award for Academic Excellence and Outstanding leadership from the American Association of Women Dentists. Dr. Budde has a license to practice dentistry in Wisconsin; she is a member of the American Dental Association and Madison Seattle Study Club.
In her spare time, Dr. Budde enjoys running and playing sand volleyball on the Affiliated Dentists Madison sponsored team in East Madison. Dr. Budde is married to an avid basketball fan and statistician. When not hanging with her husband watching the Huskers or Badgers, you may find her outside, reading a great book or playing trivia with her friends at a local tavern. Dr. Budde’s sister is Dr. Susie Dendinger.
Dr. Budde is also an avid sports fan. During football season, she’s rooting on the Nebraska Huskers while she cheers for the Creighton Bluejays during basketball season. She also tries to attend an Indycar race every year, which is her favorite sport to watch.
